We know that not all runners are training for a race (or at least not training for one all the time).

Not having a focus or goal for your training is the surest way to stagnate progress or fall off track.
As an example, data shows that runners who work on their weaknesses (i.e. endurance, speed, weight loss, etc) for 6-10 weeks between training for races were 2 x more likely to run a personal best at their next race compared to runners who took a break.
Likewise, in a study conducted by Dr. Jinger Gottschall of Penn State University, researchers showed that 98.8% of participants who utilized a group training plan to stay accountable to their exercise routine never missed a workout.

We use our team of expert coaches to help answer your questions, adjust your training, and keep you accountable. You can ask questions in our private stream, post questions when you log your workouts, and interact with us during the live calls.

Giving an example schedule is actually very difficult because we custom write all of our plans. That means no two training schedules will look alike.
The example schedule here is a brief overview, mainly focused on our philosophy and how it would apply to training. The mileage numbers and workouts are not what you would be asked to run. Your plan would be custom written for you based on your experience level and goals.
You don’t have to be an elite runner, in your 20’s, or even run fast to fit in with this group.

The plans we write for this group are also customized to your age, goals, training experience and injury history. We can write your plan in miles or kilometers, whichever you prefer. Many custom plans you'll find don't include built-in strength work, injury prevention work, or cross training. You probably won't find any with nutrition guidance and exact fueling plans for your race. In our plans, everything is included!
