how it works

Schedule Your Call

After choosing your option and signing up you’ll be taken to a page to schedule your call with one of our expert coaches. We have many different times and days available and will work with you to schedule a time that fits your schedule.

Send Preliminary Information

After scheduling your time, you’ll then send your coach information about your training background, history and a brief outline of what you would like to talk about.


If you are a RC member, we also have access to your current training log, past workouts, etc via the site. This allows your coach to be fully prepared and maximize the time spent with you.

Attend the Call

Show up on the day and time of your call and spend 1 hour with your coach discussing your training, what you need to do to succeed, race planning, nutrition and every any other running-related question you have.

Most frequent questions and answers

Great question. The all itself is one-on-one, there won’t be anyone else on the call.

After our call, we will edit the call to remove any personal or private info, trim the conversation, and record a separate intro and transitions to make our conversation flow better for others watching.

We will post to our podcast as well as our youtube channels. Our goal is to use your story, questions, struggles and triumphs to help other runners.

We have experience working with literally thousands of runners. Injury-prone, masters, tough schedules, crazy race goals and more.

That said, here are a few things we can’t help with…

  1. We are not doctors. We will help as best we can if you’re suffering from an injury and provide you with research-backed treatment and rehab exercises and modalities. But, we recommend you see your doctor or physical therapist as well.
  2. We are also not certified nutritionists. We will do our best to answer nutrition questions, especially marathon fueling questions. But, we cannot write a specific meal plan for you or monitor your weight loss.

Generally, calls last between 30 to 60 minutes depending on your questions and how deep we need to dive.

We also believe you’re an experiment of one and that there is no one-size-fits-all way to train. We hate template plans and simple answers to complex questions.
