Seth Bloom ran the Salty 7 trail race Half Marathon and finished with a time of 1:57:16, which was a PR!
My first ever trail race. So I suppose it could be a PR. I just ran strong, injury free and finished strong. The perfect race. I was flying past others and over rocks and over hills. So great!
Walter Gonçalves ran the TMC A-Mountain Half Marathon and finished this race in the time of 1:46:59, which was a PR!
I ran a half marathon in April of this year but it was not properly timed because the race was not well-marked. Good race. There was over 700 feet of elevation gain in the first couple of miles – up and down A-Mountain, here in Tucson. Awesome race, great weather.
Edward Kaluzne ran the Columbus Half Marathon with a finishing time of 2:06:45.
Trained for the marathon. Had to switch to the half. Coaches got me through a good last six weeks. Considering the weather thankful for a good race. Fourth out of twenty nine in my age group 70- 74. I am 73
El Jones ran the Atlantic City Marathon and completed this race event in the time of 3:34:23.
ROCKED IT!! Thank you to the coaches! My goal was 3:35 and I finished in 3:34:15! Last 2 miles I wanted to slow down so bad but thanks to my pacer Jamie who encouraged me throughout the race I did it! I took first in age group and senior masters (over 60) and beat the Delaware resident age group marathon record by 25 minutes!! My husband has been the wind beneath my wings and my biggest and best cheerleader! It was such a GREAT DAY but don’t look at my toes! I think I’m only gonna have 3 or 4 that will make it! 🤣
Joe Allen ran the Auggie’s 5K, finishing this distance in the time of 27:38.
This is a classic race in our area on a paved, flat trail. The course is out and back and we had perfect weather, sunny and no wind. Ran a good race and finished with my fasted 5K of the year. I used to run this course between 6:45 and 7:15 miles but these days getting below 9:00 is an achievement. Ran a negative split and was happy with my effort.
Katie Palmer ran the Champlain Islands Marathon and finished this race event in the time of 4:36:58.
Windy and warm. Tough marathon today. Felt hungry around mile 24 and knew I blew it on my nutrition. The wind was so windy! Wind surfers at White’s beach were cool. Chip time was 4:36:xx. Real glad to see some friends cheering me and the rest of us running. Definitely felt the love out there. Feeling depleted after this one though—time to recover.
