Joe Allen ran the Pumpkin Festival 5k, finishing this distance in the time of 27:39.
This is a prominent race in our area with lots of good runners from the region. I am just getting over a virus and just started running again two days ago, when I was exhausted after 1.5 miles, so wasn’t sure how I’d do but felt pretty good despite the humidity and ran a strong second half.
Christine Lee ran the Boulderthon Marathon and finished with a time of 4:09.44.
I felt I ran more consistently during the hills and heat. Next time, spread out training on more different segments of the race to have a more holistic view of the course.
