5 Treadmill Workouts to Keep You Sane and Fit

Although the severity of winters (and summers) may change, most of us will be confined to a treadmill at some point during the extremes. Without the changing scenery, and the satisfaction of seeing the ground covered, treadmill workouts can be a challenge to build up any kind of enthusiasm for.

When you are in training for a race and the weather takes a turn for the worst, you may be able to run easy, but there comes a point where you just have to get on with it.

We have created these fun workouts for those days where the motivation is really lacking, but you want to make sure you get a hard effort in.

When the weather takes a turn for the worst, the treadmill becomes our new best friend, but like a teenager, too much time means we get fed up, and look for something new; these 5 workouts will help you stay sane on the treadmill, so you can keep up with your training, and have fun doing it!

Ever wondered about the difference between running outside and running on the treadmill? Or maybe you are training for the Boston Marathon, and need some creative ways to prepare your body for the downhills while on a treadmill? Check out our Guide to Running Downhill.
