Whether you’re looking for a fun challenge, a way to connect and make new friends, or to build strength and chase down goals, our women’s only focus group is here to help you run stronger and have more fun on the run.

While we love all runners, let’s face it, sometimes us women need a more private space to share our training, our questions, and our goals & fears.

That’s why Coach Claire will lead a crew of ambitious, like-minded women to give you a safe and energized place to navigate your training (and everything in between).

You’ll get daily strength and running workouts customized to your fitness level, age, training history and goals. You’ll know exactly what mileage, paces, and workouts to run plus you’ll have tailored strength workouts with reps, sets, and exercise descriptions.

Plus, to help keep you accountable, you’ll have access to Coach Claire to get feedback on your workouts and answer your questions. Even better, through our private community, we’ll connect you with other like-minded, ambitions women. You’ll feel like you have an entire team at your back!

We Write You a Custom Schedule

Your training schedule is custom created and meticulously written just for you. We take data from your previous training, age, injury history, preferred training days and develop a personalized training schedule that is uniquely suited for your work/life schedule, strengths and your weaknesses to ensure you get the most of your running.

How Our Coaches Help Guide Your Training

In addition to your group coach, we use our team of expert coaches to help answer your questions, adjust your training, and keep you accountable. You can ask questions in our private stream, post questions when you log your workouts, and interact with us during the live calls.

Strength Work Built Into Your Plan

We will assign you specific strength routines each day so you’ll know exactly what you need to do each day of the week. We include include a variety of different strength exercises, such as core, hip strength, total body, circuits, and injury prevention work based on your training history, age, injury history and goals, all of which don’t require a gym. Thus, your strength training will be unique to you.

Women Specific Running And Wellness Topics

Each week Coach Claire discusses a running and wellness topic that women face with best-practices based on research and practical advice from your fellow peers. Previous talks have centered around topics such improving your mental self-talk on the run, nutrition for weight loss, performance and recovery, and how to recharge your motivation.

A Fun Team to Keep You Motivated and Accountable

Our platform helps to keep you motivated by connecting you to small-group team of other runners doing the same bootcamp challenge. The teams are small, so you’re not “sharing with the world” and can build real comradery through your shared experiences with the workouts and challenges.

Weekly Zoom Calls With Your Coaches and Team

Our zoom calls are an awesome combination of fun and learning. You’ll have a chance to ask questions to your coach, review the previous week of training, and of course interact and see your new teammates. These Zoom calls will quickly become the favorite part of your week. All Zoom calls are recorded so you can view later if you can’t attend live.

Don't Take Our Word For It

“The Women’s Focus group went much deeper than I had imagined.

We started with some strength training, which quickly became a conversation about self-care, motivation and accountability. I realized that many women in the group, myself included, tend forget ourselves in the process while helping others out. This made me realize how important self-care is to our success. If I want to eat healthy, run longer, run faster, run without injury, I need to put myself as a priority and ensure my running becomes part of my daily self-care routine. I need to think positively about myself and about running in order to care for myself.

I found a group of women that are willing to go through great lengths to help one another, but that are also learning the important process of self-care.

In this group Coach Claire has facilitated thoughts on having life-long purpose to run as well as thinking positively about running, during the run and after the run so that we can practice self-care a little bit more in the end.

Every day in this focus group, I would look forward to seeing what kind of run my friends accomplished as well as look forward to their feedback on my runs.

Beyond the camaraderie, positive thinking, self-care, we discussed running-related topics such as hills, rest, nutrition, stretching, injuries.

Coach Claire guided me through a short-lived ankle injury, gave me tips for running hill workouts and helped me plan my race day fueling.

I would encourage all women to join this focus group as you might learn a little bit from all members that are at different life stages and have different running experiences.”

What Type of Runner is This Group for? Will I fit in?

You don’t have to be an elite runner, in your 20’s, or even run fast to fit in with this group.

The RunnersConnect community is filled with all types of runners – young, old, marathoners, 5kers, new to the sport, grizzled veterans and more.

We’re even global – with athletes from 80 different countries.

What we do all have in common is a love for running and a desire to improve, stay healthy and enjoy the sport more!

So, I can almost guarantee you’ll fit in with this group and love your new team!

The plans we write for this group are also customized to your age, goals, training experience and injury history. We can write your plan in miles or kilometers, whichever you prefer.  So whether you’re just getting started on your running journey or you’re an experienced runner looking for that edge, our plan will work for you.

Still Have Questions?

We’ll do our best to answer them here, but feel free to email support@runnersconnect.net if you have any questions not covered here.

No, no gym is needed. All strength, stretching and accessory work can be done at your home. We do have gym options for those that have one and want to use one, but it is not required.

The running schedule and strength workouts are delivered via our training app, which allows our coaches and you to track your progress and import/export to your favorite tracking devices. You can watch a video below about how this works.

Our focus groups and bootcamps are an add-on to our current RC membership because of the additional coaching, team and zoom calls and content.

If you want to join we will pause your existing RC membership so you are not charged during the time you join a bootcamp or focus group. The time will be added to your membership and last payment once the bootcamp is over and you want to restart.

We understand that our live zoom calls won’t always work for you. However, we will take questions beforehand and have recordings of each meetup so you can watch whenever you have time.

We use our team of expert coaches to help answer your questions, adjust your training, and keep you accountable.

You can ask questions in our private stream, post questions when you log your workouts, and interact with us during the live calls.

You can also request feedback on any run or workout, even if you don’t have questions. We have a short video below that explains a bit more about how this works.

We get it, training rarely ever goes to plan. If you miss a day or need an adjustment our coaches are here to help realign your plan.

Plus, your schedule will constantly adapt your training to your progress. If we notice that you’re having an easy time with all of the workouts we prescribe, we’ll speed things up to ensure you’re challenged appropriately. If you’re struggling or you have an injury pop up – we’ll back off and get your training on the right track.
